why deprive us of this

This photos of the lovely playground in Phase 6, Tmn Seri Gombak (one can see the KL skyline in the background )was taken by Affa, a Phase 6, Tmn Sri Gombak resident. I simply cant understand why they have to deprive us of this lovely space and replace it with a few concrete blocks. I mean the complex can always be built at another location. Why deprive us Seri Gombak residents the pleasure of enjoying this place. In case, you are wondering, this place can be accessed from Jalan SG 6/2, Taman Seri Gombak, and you are welcome to visit to view the glorious place!

and, if you are wondering what i am griping about.... well, LPPKN has decided that they want to build a prosperity complex (whatever that is???) on this open space, and am not too happy that the residents are against this project. But face it, given a choice, who would want this complex in the midst of their residential area, and close to their homes.

It is not as if there is no more land available in Selangor, why here for goodness sake...why not somewhere else, maybe in a commercial area, or another more suitable area, where it would be more convenient for everybody concerned..after all, they can always find land elsewhere, but this is the ONLY space for the residents.

residents want to keep fields - Google Search

residents want to keep fields - Google Search

this land of mine,

These are pictures of the field phase 6 residents are trying to save. Who in their right minds would want to replace this beautiful land of ours with a few ugly concrete blocks!

United we stand

United we stand, divided we fall. What pleases me about the past few days is the unity (muhibbah spirit) i see among Phase 6 residents. While walking round the neighbourhood, neighbours irregardless of race and religion haf gladly open their doors to give their opinions of the proposed complex and most voices are quite against the project, as everybody wants to keep the field. Take Wesak day. We had a small meeting among ourselves to discuss about the project. It was very heartening to see neighbours who heard about our meeting coming up one by one to voice their support and opinions. We also had neighbours volunteering to walk round the neighbourhood to collect signatures in our campaign to save our field. We want the field to remain as it is for the pleasure and enjoyment of us Seri Gombak residents. So dear Phase 6 neighbours, "Please keep up the momentum. Let's tell the authorities we DO NOT want the complex on our open space and to shift the complex elsewhere. They can easily find another piece of land elsewhere to build their complex, but this is the only open space and playground we Phase 6 resident will ever have!'

why oh why

why oh why do they haf to take it away..... what i am lamenting about is that LPPKN is going to built a family complex on this little playground. i mean the playground where my children use to play on when they were younger, dashing all my hopes that 1 day my grandchildren(..) would be able to play there too...ahh. It is not just any playground but the playground next to my house, the playground of many a photographer dream, becos this place commands a spectacular view of the KL skyline, with our TWIN towers (yes THE twin towers). in the background. I mean where else in KL can you haf a spot that splendid, and they want to take that away.. wonder where their artistic view. Hoping that the authorities will not approve planning permisison so that us Seri Gombak residents will still be able to enjoy this place.!!! Please help us save the playground.
